Terms of Use
Effective July 22, 2026
These Terms govern your use of hiptoheart.com. They do not govern doula services โ those are covered by the service agreement you sign before your care begins, which controls if there is any conflict with these Terms.
1. About this website
This website provides information about Hip to Heart and a way to request a consultation. Using it does not create a client relationship, and does not guarantee that we have availability for your dates or that we will be able to match you with a doula.
2. Requesting a consultation
Submitting a consultation request or intake form is a request, not a booking. A doula relationship begins only when we have confirmed a match and you have signed a service agreement. Please give us accurate information โ the match depends on it.
3. Availability and scope
We serve Massachusetts and surrounding New England communities. Availability varies by due date, by season, and by the kind of support you need. Nothing on this website is a guarantee of availability, of a particular doula, or of a particular price.
4. Not medical advice
Everything on this website is general information about doula support. It is not medical, midwifery, nursing, mental health, or lactation-consultant advice, and it is not a substitute for care from your healthcare provider. Our Services & Non-Medical Disclaimer is incorporated into these Terms. If you have a medical concern, contact your provider. In an emergency, call 911.
5. Our content
The text, photographs, graphics, name, and logo on this website belong to us or are used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, or republish them without our written permission. Photographs of families and babies on this site are published with the permission of the families shown; please treat them with the respect that implies and do not reuse them.
6. Your submissions
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit. Do not submit anyone elseโs personal information without their permission. If you send us a review or testimonial, we may publish it only with your separate written permission.
7. Third-party links and services
We link to and use third-party services, including our scheduling and intake platform and our payment processor. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
This website is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and uninterrupted operation.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of your use of this website will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here affects the terms of any signed service agreement between us.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any action will be brought in the state or federal courts of Massachusetts.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. The effective date above will change, and continued use of the site means you accept the update.
