BBS Accessibility Statement
Effective July 23, 2026.
Birth Boss Society is committed to making our website and programs usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is not a one-time project for us; it is something we work on as the site changes.
Our standard
We aim to conform substantially to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Steps we take include:
- Meaningful alternative text on images that carry information
- Color combinations chosen to meet contrast requirements
- Headings structured in a logical order for screen readers
- Keyboard navigation for interactive elements, forms, and menus
- Descriptive link text rather than "click here"
- Captions on video content, and transcripts where we are able to provide them
- Forms with properly associated labels
Known limitations
We build on third-party platforms and use third-party embedded content, including video players, scheduling tools, and payment forms. We do not control the accessibility of those components. Some older content, including archived recordings, may not yet be captioned. We are working through it.
Events
For in-person events including the CEO Summit, we ask about accessibility needs at registration and work with our venue to meet them. If you need an accommodation, tell us at registration or email [email protected] as far ahead as you can so we have time to arrange it properly.
Tell us when we get it wrong
If you hit a barrier anywhere on our site or in our programs, email [email protected] with the page address and a description of the problem. We aim to respond within five business days and will work with you to get you the content in a form you can use while we fix the underlying issue.
